МІЖ ДВОХ МОВ: ЯК ЕМОЦІЙНИЙ ІНТЕЛЕКТ ДИКТУЄ ПЕРЕМИКАННЯ КОДІВ У СОЦІАЛЬНИХ МЕРЕЖАХ
Abstract
The article examines the phenomenon of code-switching in bilingual communities, particularly in the context of social media such as Instagram and Twitter. Three types of code-switching are analyzed: inter- sentential, intra-sentential, and tag switching, using examples from the writings of Junot Díaz. The study focuses on the role of emotional intelligence in the communication process, emphasizing how users adapt their linguistic choices to better convey emotions and cultural identity. Particular attention is paid to the impact of Instagram and Twitter on the spread of this phenomenon and the formation of social ties. The results indicate a significant impact of code-switching on the formation of social ties in bilingual communities, which opens up new perspectives for further research in this area.
