The role of artificial intelligence and social media in shaping of contemporary literary discourse in Spanish-speaking countries

Abstract

This article will focus on analyzing the impact of artificial intelligence and social media on the formation of contemporary literary discourse in Spanish-speaking countries based on literary blogs, Youtube channels, twitter accounts, etc. The analysis will consider the role of artificial intelligence and social media in both the creation and dissemination of literary works, focusing on platforms such as literary blogs, YouTube channels, and accounts on X (formerly Twitter). The methodology employed includes analysis and synthesis, the descriptive method, and an exhaustive sampling technique. Among the main findings, the central role of artificial intelligence in automating the creative process stands out, as does social media’s ability to foster new forms of participation in literary discourse.
