In order to make the learning process interesting and effective, teachers look for and explore different options. Recently, a student-centered approach to education has been widely used, and, accordingly, traditional teaching, in which the teacher is the center of the educational process, fades into the background. This article examines the concept of "student-centrism", its essence, effectiveness, methods of expression and relation to the concept of "anthropocentrism". The hypothesis of this study is the assumption that modern academic discourse reflects the principles of student-centrism and is a variation of anthropocentrism.
